This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Throne Score (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. • Account Information:When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information from those services.
• Location Data:We collect your device's location to show nearby restrooms. Location is only accessed when the App is in use and you have granted permission.
• User Content:We collect reviews, ratings, and lists you create within the App.
• Usage Data:We automatically collect information about how you interact with the App, including pages viewed, features used, and actions taken.
• Device Information:We collect device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's functionality
• To show you restrooms near your location
• To display your reviews and contributions to other users
• To personalize your experience and provide recommendations

Information Sharing

• Public Content:Your reviews, ratings, and public lists are visible to other users. Your display name and profile photo appear with your contributions.
• Service Providers:We share information with third-party vendors who assist in operating the App (hosting, analytics, payment processing).
• Legal Requirements:We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
• Business Transfers:In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Google AdMob: Advertising (free tier only)
• Google Maps: Map display and location services
• Sentry: Error tracking and crash reporting
• PostHog: Analytics

Each service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data.

Advertising

Our free tier displays advertisements through Google AdMob. On iOS, we request your permission through App Tracking Transparency before showing personalized ads. If you decline tracking, you will see non-personalized ads. Throne Score Plus subscribers do not see any advertisements.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and user content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update:You can access and update your profile information in the App settings.
• Delete Account:You can delete your account in Settings → Privacy → Delete Account.
• Location:You can disable location access in your device settings, though this will limit App functionality.
• Notifications:You can manage push notification preferences in the App settings.
• Data Export:You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
